About the Role
Nora B, PT is seeking an experienced and flexible Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team. As a Pediatric PT, you will work closely with infants, children, adolescents and their families to help them improve their physical abilities, maximize functional independence, and enhance overall quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients, primarily ages 0-3, to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and functional goals.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.

Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions with a play-based approach, while integrating caregivers for effective HEP carryover.

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and appropriate referrals.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Monitor patient progress, track outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed.

Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports accurately and timely.

Stay current with advancements in pediatric physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.
SKILLS:

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Valid CA state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.

Experience with NDT, DMI, CME and other handling techniques and/or continuing education coursework in those same fields.

Knowledge and expertise in evaluating and treating various pediatric conditions, including developmental delays, neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and genetic disorders.

Interest in learning, acknowledging areas of potential growth and ability to teach caregivers, and share new and updated research with staff.

Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and typical developmental milestones, as well as atypical patterns.

Proficient in designing and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions with the flexibility to modify in the moment based on patient response.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
